Thin crust Pizza!
Hand rolled fresh Pizza made at home!

PIZZA DOUGH
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 Cups All purpose flour
• 1 Tsp Dry Active Yeast
• 3/4 Cup Warm Water
• 2 Tsp oil ( prefer olive oil)
METHOD:
Mix the oil with flour. Activate the yeast in tepid water for 5 min till frothy.
Knead the flour with the yeast mixture and then remaining warm water.
till it comes together to form a smooth ball.
Let the dough rest for 30 minutes, covered with damp cloth.
PIZZA SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
8 - Tomatoes (Makes one cup puree)
2 cloves garlic finely chopped
½ Cup Tomato puree. (optional )
dry Oregano / fresh Basil leaves .
Salt to taste
For Pizza toppings -
asparagus or
Mushroom Slices or
Capsicum
Onion - as desired

METHOD:
In a deep vessel bring water to a boil & carefully add the washed tomatoes , (make a small gash with a paring knife before) & Blanch for 10 mins.
when cooked, drain in a colander and cool under cold tap water. Skin, chop and puree the tomatoes.
In a pan, fry the finely chopped garlic, add the tomato puree paste & fresh tomatoes just puréed add salt to taste & cook for further 10-15 minutes. Add Oregano & basil leaves finely when sauce reaches to a thick dropping consistency.
To assemble the Pizza -
Roll a 4” ball of the dough to 1/8 “ thickness put on an aluminium plate or tray top as desired with Mushroom slices, Capsicum, Onions etc...
For the cheese topping:
Mix together Cheddar, Mozzarella cheese.
garnish with olives or Artichoke or Asparagus
as desired & bake in an preheated oven at 220 degrees C . For 8-10 mins till cheese is melted & done!
