Okonomiyaki sauce -

This versatile sauce can be added to perk up many snacks & Japanese dishes - okonomiyaki , tempuras , crunchy fried soft shell crabs , octopus

To make the okonomiyaki, it is a simple flour based mixture combining vegetables (predominantly cabbage) and if you want a non-vegetation option, you could add some cooked pork, chicken or prawn . homemade Okonomiyaki recipe can be cooked using a non-stick fry pan with a little vegetable oil.
To finish your okonomiyaki the best part is the toppings! Okonomiyaki sauce is essential. It is a dark brown sauce combining Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, and a dash of sugar or a teaspoon of honey.
To finish / Toppings for your okonomiyaki a dried seaweed Aonori ( available at all food store keeping international food products) a green seaweed close to powder form and Bonito Flakes , for vegetarians you can use shiitake mushrooms powdered ) for spicing it up you can use sriracha or Togarashi (dried chilli powder)! powder
Ingredients for :-
for sauce
60 g- ketchup
40 g-Worcestershire
30g-sugar or honey
5 g- kikkoman sauce
30g- oyster sauce
Method :-
mix the above together in a bowl & serve !
optional - for vegetarians specially -
use
1 tsp Kombu dashi mixed with 1/4 cup water & 1/2 soy can be added for extra flavour. .
