
Lavash Crisps
A must try "Crispy Lavash Crakers"
my Lavash Cracker recipe – quick and easy, crunchy homemade lavash crackers sprinkled with white & black sesame seeds . A yin & yang feel to your next party mezze platter!!
This crispy flat bread, cracker, popular in the mediterranean countries, Turkey to Iran.
its basically made with flour, salt & water. & baked.
In Armenia on earthen oven walls, eaten with all the Mezze Dips -baba ganoush, hummus, tatziki, sour cream, cheesy dips & also eaten on its own.

INGREDIENTS -
2 cups of - all purpose flour ( 250gms)
1 teaspoon white & black sesame
1 tabledpoon olive oil
15 gms cold butter
1 table spoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
½ cup + 2 tablespoons water

METHOD -
put all the ingredients in the above order in a stand machine bowl & kneed on medium speed for 2-3 minutes.
when all mixture comes to form a sticky dough, take out on to a floured surface & knead into a ball,
put it in an oiled bowl cover with tea towel/ cling film & leave to rest for 20 mins.
Divide into 3 parts & roll out thin ⅛ “.
sprinkle with the sesame seeds. roll again so rhe seeds sink into the rolled dough . (11x17”)
put it on a greased lined tray .
bake in a pre heated oven at 350 c fan oven
for 15 to 20 mins.
