Decadent Cacao Banana Icecream. Dark Cacao & banana icecream with bitter cocoa chips -

Suitable for - A vegan , gluten free & Paleo Diet !



so with the huge Big Bunch of the elchi Bananas from my backyard and with all of them ripening at the same time ,

what better to have made than this delicious bitter cacao icecream !!!!


so , after dinner last night , i got into the kitchen peeled all the tiny ripe bananas , sliced them finely & put them in the freezer, all ready to be churned in my Vitamix in the morning!

This makes a great dessert for all people of age & diets !

Potassium from the Bananas

Iron from the cacao !





Using only 3 ingredients -

  • 12 Ripe elachi bananas ( these are miniature 3-4 inch bananas extremely sweet when well ripe ! )

  • 1/2 cup chocolate powder

  • 1/4 cup of Cacao powder

  • 1/3 cup dark cocoa chips ( optional )


Method :-

  • peel ,slice & freeze the bananas for a couple of hours or over night .

  • In your blender, add bananas, cacao chocolate & bend till well blended

  • (Here I have used my Vitamix mixer to blend it on the freeze mode .)

  • open cap add the chips & pulse to blend in , but not crush all .

  • pour out in a freezer friendly container & freeze -

  • this mix is an instant serve icecream if done in your icecream mode !


suggestion

• you can add any nuts like almonds, hazelnut,

• to make the icecream richer & creamier you can add 1/2 -1/3 cup of whole milk or coconut mil or Almond milk depending on your preference of dietary choice & Allergies

•My recipe Adapts well to any choice of fruits & flavour preference - like -

strawberry, vanilla , pistachio, Mint , Caramel sauce ( though caramel can get sweet as bananas are sweet already so do take note.
