Classic Moscow Mule
My Classic all time favourite cocktail!

A Typical Moscow mule is a cocktail made with vodka, spicy ginger beer, and lime juice, garnished with a slice or wedge of lime. It is a type of buck, therefore sometimes called a vodka buck.
The hardest part In making this 3-ingredient cocktail at home might be tracking down the iconic copper mugs and some ginger beer.
I will be sharing soon my ‘Own home made ginger beer’ recipe , so do look out for one soon & a steel lined copper mugs are readily available now in many bar equipment stores !
so a bit of pre arrangement are to be done or stock your bar well in advance .
The reason this mule is popularly served in a copper mug is it takes on the cold temperature of the liquid and adds a character to the cocktail so important for the whole turn out .

Though Some health advisories recommend copper mugs be plated with nickel or stainless steel on the inside and the lip is also true & accurate , the fact remains disputed whether the
time & acidity of the drink is enough to cause copper toxicity , it’s entirely left to your own personal opinion which way you go !
